This is a pano made of 2 36MP photos merged together in Lightroom. Photos were taken in Strasbourg, France at sunset. Unfortunately the place from which these have been taken (Barrage Vauban) is closed at 19:00 and at this time of the year the best I could get was an early sunset. I’ll try to come back there during the winter time and take a shot at blue hour and night shots 🙂 (Click to see larger) Photo details: Nikon D800; 28-300mm f3.5-5.6; 1/50 sec at f/8; ISO…

This is still part of Au Pont Saint Martin restaurant, which is next to the main building. We were hoping to have out dinner there, but no way… apparently good client distribution is more important than level of client’s happiness 😉 (Click to see larger) Photo details: Nikon D800; 28-300mm f3.5-5.6; 10 sec at f/8; ISO 100. Took this photo while I was hiking in the Schönau am Königssee. I found this small pond above the Königssee lake and I couldn’t resist the view and stop there to take a few shots. There also were other hikers, so hey, I hope they don’t mind this shot 😉 (Click to see larger) Photo details: Nikon D800; 28-300mm f3.5-5.6; 1/500 sec at f/8; ISO 100. Took this photo while I was hiking in the Schönau am Königssee. I found this small pond above the Königssee lake and I couldn’t resist the view and stop there to take a few shots. Luckily I had a tripod and an intervalometer so I could easily compose an HDR sequence with me in the shot 🙂 (Click to see larger) Photo details: Nikon D800; 18-35mm f3.5-4.5; 1/50 sec at f/18; ISO 100. Some time ago we went to Warsaw for a few days, to visit the best restaurant in Poland, Atelier Amaro. I’ve decided to use that opportunity to take a few photos in the city. It’s been a while since I was in Warsaw last time, and it’s changed quite a bit. I was really surprised how modern this city looks like. This photo was taken from the Palace of Culture and Science. I got there a bit too late and the sunset was almost over. It was so…

A few months ago we were on a photo assignment for Skylife Magazine (for Turkish Airlines) to Friedrichshafen. We didn’t spend much time there, it was just a weekend, but it was enough to see some nice places and check interesting restaurants. This is Graf-Zeppelin-Haus which also has a nice restaurant. At some point we stopped here for a dinner. Even though they were closing it already, the nice service let us order some food – they must have realised that we’re very hungry travelers 🙂 Very nice…

This is how the Cathedral in Strasbourg looks like from inside. Gothic architecture together with amazing lightning make this place worth visiting every time you are in Strasbourg. Also, tripods are allowed! 🙂 (Click to see larger) Photo details: Nikon D800; 18-35mm f3.5-4.5; 20 sec at f/16; ISO 100. More photos at http://andrzejolchawa.com
